RAISE (Rural Arts In Science Education) is an education for sustainable development project based around a network of farms and land projects in South Devon. RAISE provides a curriculum for learning the practical skills required for sustainable living. Different tutors and course leaders run a varied curriculum of short courses to suit the broad spectrum of sciences and rural arts connected to sustainability. Practical teaching uses a holistic, inter-disciplinary approach.
